We are going to the Island and the Bridge!  New this year will be a pre-event motor coach tour from the event hotel (Doherty Hotel in Clare MI) to world-famous Mackinac Island (the film "Somewhere in Time"? was filmed there and nearly every president and first lady in my lifetime has stayed there), then over the Mackinac Bridge to see the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie (and visit The Mole Hole).  If you haven't seen northern Michigan and the Great Lakes (or even if you have), this is going to be a fun-filled trip.  We're even planning to reserve seats at the table for the Grand Luncheon Buffet at the Grand Hotel for anyone who is interested.
